This Saturday, the 18th, we need people to help with Small Animal Day - Edi will be bringing the critters, just need some man power if you can make it - the event is from 9a-1p and is usually very busy. They give you a tshirt and light lunch for helping out!

Topic: Amphibian and Reptile Survey Methods -- Techniques to know to catch herps in Michigan!
There will be a 30-40 minute talk, then we can head out in the field to apply some of those techniques for a few. Dave will bring examples and has some great photos to show. Don't miss it! And come prepared to go out for a little field time afterwards!

Saturday, April 25th is the big Campus Wide Survey! We can still use some sponsors, so ask any companies/businesses/friends if they can help. Tshirts are ordered, food is planned, now all we need is the weather to cooperate and it will be a great event -- we have about 50 RSVPs right now! We will meet at the Commuter Lot Parking Lot at 8am - survey block starts at 9am!

The last meeting of the year will be at BW3's -- a party to go out with a bang! We picked a place with good food and some nonalcoholic beverages so the under 21 crowd would not be eliminated! We will meet at the restaurant, so don't bring any critters that day!

The Herp Club has all of it's meetings in the Botany Greenhouse at 7:00 PM on Mondays every week. Any changes in the schedule will be posted.

Healthy, safe-to-handle critters welcome at meetings. But be considerate of the animal and the potential stress and the possibility that others will have animals there. We want to minimize the chance of diseases being transmitted and maximize the health and happiness of the critter, so think. If in doubt, ask any officer of the club.

If you have a herp event, feel free to post it! If you have a question, ask away! If you have ideas of how the Herp Club can improve, let us know! But please be respectful and use appropriate language.
